AfB employees will pick up the hardware at the customer’s site using vehicles from the AfB motor pool. The highest possible degree of data security will be guaranteed from point of the pick-up by e.g. lockable transport containers and CCTV monitored and access-secured buildings.
The hardware will be transported directly to the nearest AfB location, inventoried and stored at our own locked warehouse – observing the most stringent security requirements. AfB also offers our partners the optional special service of tracking the hardware from the moment of entering the inventory. A web login allows you to check the status of processing on line and at all times.
The moment the hardware is entered into the inventory, the further destination of the hardware is also determined, e.g. scrap metal or re-marketing. Then the hardware details are recorded (e.g. manufacturer, model, serial number, annex number) and all customer labels removed. All data will be saved to the Inventory Management System and linked to a uniquely identifiable Log ID.
